Organised by the Clinical School Potdoc Committee, this year's event will focus on postdoctoral researchers' engagement in collaboration, particularly with industry. 

The event will feature:

  • Tips about who can help you establish collaborations and the opportunity to meet representatives from University offices and research networks; 
  • Inspiring keynotes from industry; 
  • Launch of collaborative projects with biotech and pharmaceutical industry facilitated by Milner Therapeutics Institute; 
  • Chance to meet with companies interested in collaboration with academic researchers; 
  • Advice from other postdocs who benefited from collaborations; 
  • A workshop on how to collaborate successfully and avoid pitfalls; 
  • An opportunity to present your own work and network with your fellow postdocs. 

The event will be concluded with an address from the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Business Relations, Professor Andy Neely and the Head of the Clinical School, Regius Professor of Physic Patrick Maxwell, followed by a drinks reception from 5 pm.
