In this seminar, organised by the Department of Chemistry, Professor José Luis Neira of the Instituto de Biologia Molecular y Celular, Universidad Miguel Hernández, Alicante, Spain will talk about his group's efforts to target drug-like molecules to NUPR1 (or p8), a multifunctional intrinsically disordered protein (IDP). IDPs are prevalent in eukaryotes and are often associated with human diseases such as cancers.
