In this workshop, Dr Claire Thompson, CEO of Agility Health Tech and University of Cambridge Expert in Residence, will guide participants through the complicated process of drug development. During the workshop, Claire will delve into the journey from the lab bench to the patient, discussing the process from initial conception to clinical trials, regulatory compliance and acquisition or commercialisation. Attendees will have opportunities to work in groups to discuss the translation and development process in general as well as bring specific questions to Claire relating to their own research. Follow up meetings on a 1:1 basis can also be scheduled as part of Claire’s role as Expert in Residence, following the workshop.

 

This workshop is limited to 25 attendees and places will be available on a first come first served basis. It is open to those with a University of Cambridge email address and a waitlist will be in place to prioritise for future events. Further details can be found on the registration page.
