Medtech Health Hackathon - Patient Safety

3rd and 4th May 2018, Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford Campus

After the success of the first two events Health Enterprise East and the Eastern AHSN are pleased to announce details of the latest Medtech Accelerator Health Hack - Patient Safety event.

. . .

These workshops are designed to engage a wide community of stakeholders, focused on stimulating innovation within the NHS, through the identification and development of innovative new products and services with the potential to meet unmet clinical needs and generate commercial benefit.

Event Theme: Patient Safety
Patient safety is the avoidance of unintended or unexpected harm to people during the delivery of health and care services. We are seeking novel medical technology solutions (medical devices, equipment, diagnostics, medical software, IT platforms, mobile apps) that prevent or reduce avoidable harm to patients across hospitals, primary care, community care, mental health services and care homes.

Improving safety is about reducing risk and minimising mistakes. Through the Eastern Patient Safety Collaborative the region aims to be the safest place to grow old by continued service improvement and innovation.
