Deadline for applications: Wednesday 31 July

MedTechBoost is an innovation programme to develop ground-breaking AI solutions to improve mental health and healthy ageing for the NHS. How can we use technology in mental health settings to improve patient safety?  How can AI and other technologies be used to facilitate targeted, personalised care in older people with multiple co-morbidities? The programme will take talented research, PhD, Post-Doc students and early stage start-ups, combined with select employees of MedTechBOOST’s industry Partners, through a structured process of practical ideation, venture development, and lean solution-design, to create and develop ground-breaking new solutions.

Applications are now open for this five day, free-to-enter programme, which starts on 2 September at The Bradfield Centre, the tech hub at Cambridge Science Park. Teams will develop, validate and design Machine Learning solutions for pre-selected healthcare challenges, making use of mentorship and guidance from 14 partners including AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Arm, Cambridge Judge Business School and NHS Foundation Trust Guys and St Thomas. The programme culminates with teams pitching for investment and collaboration from Eastern Academic Health Science Network (Eastern AHSN) and other leading healthcare industry partners.
