The Cambridge University Enterprise Zone is collaborating with the Milner Institute and Research England to run two Open Sessions at this year’s Milner Symposium.The first open session and live Q&A is on ‘Investments and Start-ups in Cambridge’ and is an opportunity to hear from Jason Mellad (CEO, Start Codon) about this new healthcare accelerator. This session will include short talks from the first cohort of companies in the programme. The second session is on ‘Interdisciplinary research in disease’ and aims to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration across academic and industry networks within Cambridge and beyond. Speakers: Kathryn Chapman (Milner Therapeutics Institute), Kevin Chalut (MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute), Ruth Cameron (Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials), Ali Yetisen (Imperial College London) and Cecilia Mascolo (University of Cambridge).
