This interdisciplinary workshop will bring together early career researchers from across the University to explore opportunities, ideas and technologies at the interface of sensor technologies, physical biology, engineering and stem cells, and is co-organised by the Dept. Chemical Engineering, Stem Cells Institute and the CPB. Participants will work with their group to create an interdisciplinary project and compete for the best project award at the end. Applications are welcome from all early career researchers (PhD students, postdocs, junior PIs). Please note that participation in all sessions is required. Participants will be notified by 6 September if their application was successful.

The workshop dates and locations will be:  

Tuesday 13 September: 9:30-14:00 at Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre 

Friday 16 September: 14:00-18:00 at Department of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics 

Monday 26 September: 14:00-18:00 at Department of Chemical Engineering & Biology 

 Each session includes time for networking along with lunch/refreshments. After the final session, the winning group will be awarded a small research grant to develop their interdisciplinary project. For more information, please click here.
