The CID Annual Meeting of Minds returns, showcasing exciting infectious diseases research from across the University and sector leading institutes. This one-day symposium is designed to promote collaborative thinking among the many and varied disciplines working across Cambridge Infectious Diseases, and particularly to encourage postgraduate and early career researchers to foster new relationships with colleagues across different institutions - members span all six schools of the University of Cambridge, Wellcome Sanger Institute, Babraham Institute, MRC-LMB, EMBL and more. This event will comprise a mixture of regular and Flash Talks in thematic sessions, poster presentations and a post events drinks and networking time.
The CID is also now welcoming abstracts from early career researchers to be considered for 4 minute Flash Talks, and from all researchers for posters to be displayed during the symposium. In addition, submissions of Blogs will be considered for a Blog competition. There is a cash prize of £50 for a winning flash talks, poster and blog. Selected blogs will feature on the CID web site/e-Bulletin. Please email your abstract for a poster and /or flash talk or blog entry directly to alw83@cam.ac.uk.
