This event is part of a series of lectures and workshops forming a Drug Discovery and Development course offered by the Department of Chemistry.
In these sessions, Dr Mukund Chorghade will discuss the pivotal role played by process chemistry/route selection in the progress of a drug from conception to commercialization. Key concepts will be exemplified by process development case studies on a variety of pharmaceutical moieties such as anti-epileptic and an anti-asthma drugs.
