The event will include iDMT opening activities in which the centre will be opened and introduced by:
Professor Andy Neely OBE, University of Cambridge Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Business Relations, Professor Alexei Lapkin, Director of the iDMT and Professor of Sustainable Reaction Engineering and Professor Matthew Gaunt, Co-director of the iDMT and Yusuf Hamied Professor of Chemistry. The opening will also include virtual lab tours of the facilities, during which questions from attendees on the capabilities of the lab will be welcomed.
This will be followed by an iDMT showcase during which we will hear about aspects of the scientific foundation behind the iDMT from leading University of Cambridge academics, case studies of how the iDMT provides support for small businesses from the first iDMT-SME partnerships, and the importance of digitalisation from the iDMT’s industrial partners. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and comment on the presentations.
