The Cambridge Centre for Physical Biology has announced the first CPB seminar of 2021! In this seminar, Dr Timothy Russell of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine will discuss exciting results from the mathematical modelling of COVID-19 infection. He will ask: Can PCR and Lateral Flow tests detect SARS-CoV-2 over the entire course infection, and what about the transmissibility of the new SARS-CoV-2 variants? He will be using a range of simple and complex models to get the most out of the available data. This seminar is open to all.
